Leo Cussen Institute has been training law graduates for admission to legal practice since 1974 and is recognised by the legal profession as providing comprehensive and quality training for entry level lawyers.

At Leo Cussen you learn how to practice law in a friendly, stimulating, and exciting environment, learning about the realities of legal practice from leading professionals who support and encourage your development as a lawyer.

The Practical Training Course (PTC) is founded on the principle of ‘learning by doing’ and is designed to help you actively achieve understanding and competence in the National Competency Standards for Entry Level Lawyers while providing further opportunities to develop your career options.

Upon successful completion of the PTC course, you become eligible for admission to the legal profession as an Australian Lawyer. You are then eligible to be a legal practitioner in any Australian jurisdiction.
